Software firm Fundtech and BankAtlantic of Florida, U.S., have developed a service to help cash managers retrieve check images themselves in a timelier manner. Fundtech has integrated its cash management service with BankAtlantic’s image provider to create a portal through which business customers can view images of checks. Anthony A. Gautney, Senior Vice President and Manger of BankAtlantic’s Cash Management Department, said: ‘By creating an online resource for viewing checks, our customers can retrieve the images early the next morning rather than having to wait for a fax, or statement in the mail. This will enable them to significantly increase processing efficiencies.’ In addition to the check-imaging portal, Fundtech provides BankAtlantic with a suite of bank-branded cash management services, including CashLink Electronic Banking, through its Fundtech Connect ASP environment.
