Kevin Galliers has joined Cognotec as Vice President of Sales and will oversee all global sales activity including existing accounts and new clients. His particular focus is the promotion of Cognotec’s new, component-based foreign exchange trading platform Cognotec AutoDeal+. Galliers has moved from Iris Financial Engineering & Systems Inc where he was Vice President of Sales, responsible for worldwide sales, marketing and distribution of Iris Financial’s software solutions. Prior to this, he was a regional managing director for SunGard Trading and Risk Systems. ‘I am thrilled to be joining Cognotec at such an exciting time in the development of trading technology platforms. Banks are increasingly competing on the basis of automated technologies and value-added services,’ said Galliers about his new role.
