As chief technology officer, Peter is responsible for delivering the business benefit of e-portals technology to the financial services sector. He is also responsible for driving the expansion of e-portals recently opened UK development centre. Peter brings over 25 years of experience in the wholesale, treasury and investment banking sectors to his role at e-portals. He joins e-portals from Charteris, a city-based management consultancy where his clients included several major exchanges and other significant financial organisations. His previous roles have included: IT director of Barclays Bank and BZW; technical director of the trading systems company, Ceres; and vice president in charge of treasury technology at Citibank where he was the architect of their treasury trading systems. Peter is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and Chair of their Financial Services Specialist Group.
