Citibank e-Business announced its strategic alliance for the delivery of its Citibank e-Billing service in Asia and Western Europe. The solution, which provides business-to-business electronic bill presentment and payment services over the Internet, enables organisations to integrate their existing payment and settlement functions. The service provides access to local and multi-country payment systems, as well as integrating Citibank’s core products, such as CitiDirect Netting, Wholesale Lockbox and Accounts Receivables Matching. Enabling companies to transact electronically with their corporate clients, Citibank e-Billing facilitates web-based invoicing, approval and dispute of items, as well as bill presentment and payment, in a real-time environment. Citibank e-Billing utilises the PEX B2B Gateway, a second generation invoice presentment and payment offering from e-Business Exchange Pte. Ltd.
