SimCorp has appointed Daniel Andres as sales and marketing director for IT/2 (EMEA), SimCorp’s leading corporate treasury management system. Daniel Andres is responsible for the sales teams and all marketing activities in UK, Benelux, Germany and the Nordic regions. His immediate aim is to create and implement a strategic plan that focuses on the development and growth of SimCorp’s corporate treasury business. This new position follows the restructure of SimCorp’s business, which has established the UK as the centre for development and support of the IT/2 corporate treasury product. Daniel Andres joined SimCorp from Sungard where he worked for eight years, most recently as the sales and marketing director for Sungard EMS. He has worked in the financial services sector for 18 years, eleven years of which he has worked specifically in financial services IT.
