Mr. Villegas will be primarily responsible for the coordination of all Deutsche Bank efforts within Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean. He will be based in Bogota. He joins Deutsche Bank from Rothschild Colombia, where he was a Managing Director. He has previously served as Colombian Ambassador to the Organization of American States, Colombia’s Secretary of the Interior, and Chief of Staff to the Colombian President. Mr. Villegas is 45 and holds Economics degrees from the University of Bogota and the London School of Economics.
