Jesse Kwon
Head of Asia Desk, Citi Securities and Fund Services
Jesse Kwon heads the Asia desk in New York for securities and fund services, which provides solutions to broker/dealers and asset managers, and is composed of custody and clearing, securities finance, fund services and other value-added securities and fund services. Kwon joined Citi in 2006 to build a sales team in Korea and delivered top global sales in 2007. He was promoted to director and relocated to New York to set up the Asia desk, where his key responsibility was to promote Citi’s Asian securities and fund services franchise to US-based financial institutions. Prior to joining Citi, Kwon held positions with Euromoney, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank where he managed sales, client services and foreign exchange (FX)/treasury teams. He holds a BS in Finance from Creighton University and an MBA from Thunderbird - American Graduate School of International Management.
